Opportunity Overview
Rhythm seeks an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Global Medical Information team. This person will contribute to the overall Medical Information execution process for new launches, key data releases, supporting overseeing day-to-day medical information inquiries and drafting standard and custom response documents. Medical Information develops and disseminates Rhythm’s scientific/medical data through the provision of timely, accurate, and unbiased medical information responses to external parties (healthcare providers) or internal parties (affiliates and distributors) requesting medical or product information in the US and Globally. This is a Global Scientific Communications position that will report to the Senior Director, Global Medical Information.

This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs. This role may involve some travel.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation such as restricted stock units.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Handles escalated inquiries from Medical Information Contact Center, including custom response development or triaging as appropriate.
- Perform quality review of cases and responses of medical information for consistency and accuracy
- Supports development of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and standard response letters (SRLs) to respond to unsolicited requests for medical information across US and Global needs
- Possess an understanding of the use and creation of innovative technology and database buildouts to identify new opportunities for dissemination of medical information
- Provides training and supports as needed the vendor contact center and other ad hoc internal trainings.
- Supports and contributes to the development of Medical Information metrics, identifying trends, and process improvement and tracks performance against metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
- Reviews current medical information material and proactively create new scientific responses to anticipated inquiries with medical writing vendor for repository.
- Support conference coverage including medical information services and assisting with coverage of scientific sessions as needed
- Creates strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues in US and Global
- Assists in building out medical information contact center as required and needed globally
- Contributes to other Global Scientific Communications and Medical Information projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- BA/BS degree in a scientific field of study (Nurse or Pharmacist preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a related industry, pharmaceutical/biotech global medical information experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Medical Information-related document and customer management systems/databases (CRM)
- Knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance Guidance for Medical Affairs/Medical information
- Well-organized with good project management skills
- Demonstrated ability developing Medical Information materials or similar collateral materials
- Prior history with managing multiple vendors is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of drug development, medical terminology, medical writing, pharmacology, drug safety, quality
- Experience in obesity or rare disease preferable
