Opportunity Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, Rhythm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Senior Project Manager to join the Information Technology team. This role is critical for the overall success of our technology programs and platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, information technology colleagues and outside vendors to drive successful implementations across multiple projects.

Opportunity Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, Rhythm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Senior Project Manager to join the Information Technology team. This role is critical for the overall success of our technology programs and platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, information technology colleagues and outside vendors to drive successful implementations across multiple projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create cross-functional, integrated project plans including evaluating, optimizing, and planning of alternative and associated operational scenarios
- Create operational dashboards to track and communicate progress to the appropriate stakeholders
- Support and/or lead project critical path, decision criteria and milestones/decision gates
- Communicate and interact with cross-functional leads and team members as well as senior leadership on status and risks among other topics
- Develop/ensure accuracy of program team timelines, track and drive deliverables across functions
- Monitor potential budget, timeline and strategy variances; proactively bring forward with functions; assess options for tradeoffs within overall budget, timeline, and strategy
- Manage operational aspects of project team: chartering, agendas, driving and documentation of actions and decisions, meeting facilitation, timelines, overviews, etc.
- Manage and archive project and program information conduct and implement key lessons learned and after-action reviews as appropriate to the program/team
- Actively contribute to, oversee or lead the development of processes, tools, and standards necessary to establish program management best practices; Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across functional areas of Rhythm.
- Influence our overall strategy to enable our technology to drive improve results through change management skills
- Work with the VP, Information Technology to work in other processes / functions, technologies and projects based on the overall company priorities
- Be able to work in a ‘hands on’ capacity as needed and appropriate
Qualifications and Skills
- BA/BS degree required
- 5+ years’ experience in project/program management preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
- Experience in systems life cycle development preferred including simultaneous oversight of multiple projects
- Have basic regulatory knowledge, including GxP topics
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); Familiarity with Smartsheet or MS Project preferred
- Passion and excitement for driving technology forward toward a goal of helping patients with rare, unmet medical needs.
- Ability to work independently and have strong ability to influence outcomes
- Ensure a welcoming partner-based environment throughout the company as it pertains to technology areas
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills and ability to execute while dealing with competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
