Opportunity Overview
The Specialist, Supply Chain will support the Associate Director, Global Supply Chain in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the International Supply Chain. This role will focus on order management, logistics coordination, inventory tracking, QMS support and management, in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of pharmaceutical products to international markets. Additionally, the Specialist will be supporting with data capturing, analysis, and reporting. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, third-party logistics providers, and other key stakeholders while adhering to GMP/GDP standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Order Management and Logistics Support:
- Support in the creation and maintenance of transport documents.
- Support the processing and reporting of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with cold chain and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in raising purchase orders in the ERP system and tracking their execution to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to facilitate efficient transport, warehousing, and distribution.
- Distribution Event Management:
- Support the creation and maintenance of distribution events.
- Perform data analysis for trending and tracking purposes to identify patterns, address issues, and optimize processes.
- Support in generating reports.
- Ensure timely communication of data insights to cross-functional teams and affiliates.
- Documentation:
- Support in maintaining accurate records of shipping, inventory, and supply chain documentation.
- Contribute to regular supply chain performance reviews by compiling and analysing key operational data.
- Process Improvements and Compliance:
- Support the maintenance process of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards, including GMP/GDP guidelines.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a point of contact for supply chain queries from international affiliates and distributors.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Country Managers) to resolve issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Present data findings and recommendations to supply chain leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field (experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of GMP/GDP guidelines is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
