The International Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting our expanding business across the international region. This hands-on position involves executing tactical (launch) plans, collaborating with local markets and cross-functional international teams, localizing projects, optimizing our omnichannel strategy, and supporting external events. Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the development and rollout of tactical plans and marketing materials in collaboration with the international marketing and medical teams, as well as local affiliates.
- Lead the localization and translation of disease awareness campaigns to help reduce the number of undiagnosed patients across the international region.
- Contribute to the development and execution of patient-centric projects at both international and local levels.
- Facilitate smooth handoffs between marketing and sales to ensure field teams have the right materials and feedback loops are in place for continuous improvement.
- Provide creative input to maximize impact at external events and congresses
- Ensure all materials across channels are accurate, up-to-date, and impactful by working closely with country teams.
- Support the approval of integrated strategies and tactics through internal review processes, ensuring compliance with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (LMR) requirements.
- Champion the use of AI to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in campaign and material development.
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify issues, and propose solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with external agencies on day-to-day activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters in Marketing, Business Administration, or Science
- Proven sales and marketing experience with tangible results: Minimum 6 years pharmaceutical marketing, of which at least 3 years of sales experience and 3 years of marketing experience. Experience in rare diseases preferred
- Strong experience in a national or regional marketing role is required. International / Global experience is not required.
- Demonstrated commercial success through excellent execution in previous roles
- Able to manage multiple projects in parallel and maintain overview, while ensuring a high level of execution and on time delivery.
- Strong interest and/or experience in the development & implementation of omnichannel campaigns aimed at HCPs and/or patients, including CRM expertise, opt-in programs, webinars.
- Hands on and proactive personality, who is eager to gain experience in an international rare disease role
- Out of the box thinker & strong interest in innovative approaches
- Team player able to work collaboratively across multiple business functions and to liaise with the local teams to successfully roll out marketing initiatives
- Leadership skills, ability to perform in a moving environment and to influence without authority
- Makes things happen; take responsibility for execution; speaks up and voices opinion
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and within a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
