Rhythm is seeking a talented partner to join our team as HR Business Partner, coach and change agent for our global functions. We are in an exciting phase of growth as we become a fully integrated global commercial biopharmaceutical company. Joining a Boston-based HR team and reporting into the Chief HR Officer, you will need to be both strategic and very hands-on as the HR lead for several functions. You will be a trusted partner to members of the executive and senior management team and work closely with the commercial HRBPs supporting the North American and International regions.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides strategic HR leadership and expert guidance to Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Research and G&A functions for all people processes, delivering HR programs and services to achieve key business objectives
- You will seek to understand their business goals, provide advice, counsel and support leaders in ensuring people strategies align with and deliver on goals.
- You help identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, guiding on workforce planning, including identification of skill gaps, resources and organizational design to maximize support of business objectives.
- You will coach senior leaders on HR matters including development, engagement, and talent performance areas which could create a competitive advantage for the business.
- You will work closely with managers and employees at all levels to address employee relations, behavior and performance issues. In doing so and through specific initiatives, you will help managers optimize their leadership and coaching capabilities.
- You will implement talent solutions to enhance and grow the business, including, but not limited to organizational design and development, management and talent development, and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of HR services and functions while balancing local needs with global parity
- You will contribute to the ongoing development of Rhythm’s collaborative, integrative and patient centric organizational culture
- You will act as a change agent to the business through process design and approaches that support transformation.
- As a member of the HR team, you will support a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational as per need and build strong partnerships with specialist functions of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Employee Experience and Commercial HRBPs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred
- At least 12 years HR experience with a blend of business partnering and talent management/development focus, including organizational design/effectiveness, team building, performance management, career coaching and leadership development
- Minimum of 5 years supporting employee populations in life sciences
- Experience scaling an organization, preferably in the biotech space, including a launch / post-launch
- Proven experience in influencing business and functional strategies and change
- Strong organization, leadership & influencing skills; able to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to coach and counsel at all levels
- Proven ability to demonstrate discretion and sound judgment
- Strong listening and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to deliver presentations and lead information sessions for employees and managers
